Jay Shepard vs. The Discount Heroes

In one of our bloodiest battles to date, Jay Shepard was able to take out our champions Bond & Bentley. Bond & Bentley were very worthy competitors and we look forward to seeing them 7/7 at the Jam at the Dam. Jay Shepard grabbed the win with 3 songs from his upcoming album Harsh Mistress. The Discount Heroes, much like their hometown of Philadelphia, are quite an eclectic bunch. When you bring all of these styles and influences together in one band, you get a sound that doesn’t easily fall into any genre; which is usually the best type of sound. Their credits include playing the Upright Citizens Brigade comedy theater as well as a packed house on Sunset Strip just to name a few.
