After another day off, it’s back to business with our Band vs Band on Gashouse Live (weekdays 5pm ET). When we last left, Amber Ladd was on a 10-day winning streak. She’s captured our listeners’ attention with her music, as well as her personality. Find her on Twitter and see for yourself. Just 5 more wins and Amber will be retired from BvB as a ‘champion’. This is a very big honor, as it’s only happened 5 times in our history. That being said, we can’t make it easy for her! So we’ve found some pretty serious bands.
Pocket in Red is an alternative electro pop-rock trio from Brussels. The band was formed in the beginning of 2012 and, after some months of meetings, rehearsals and recordings, they toured together with ex-Archive’s singer Craig Walker. Their impressively powerful shows, with video art projections and a very carefully directed stage concept, attracted attention anywhere they played. Pocket in Red currently focus on the creation of their debut album and looking forward to playing gigs all around Europe.
So tune in at 5pm ET today to hear 3 songs from each. Use the thumbs up/down buttons to share your opinion of each song, and the band with the most votes at the end of the show will move on to Monday. We’ll also be debuting the music of E-Mute and Whatever We Are. While these 2 are not part of Band vs Band, it’s still very important that you vote as this will determine how often they are heard on Gashouse Radio!
