On Friday’s Gashouse Live, The Defused won their 15th straight battle to become a retired champion. So today on the Band vs Band segment of the show, we start with 2 brand new challengers.
Hot Breakfast: Delaware’s PREMIER acoustic dork-rock power duo. Hot Breakfast has a new album, 39 Summers, available on iTunes and Amazon, and the physical copies can be purchased at music.hot-breakfast.com. They’ve got a semi-annual show at Bellefonte Cafe in Wilmington (June 21st), a Philly Rising Showcase at World Cafe Live in Philly (July 2), and a free outdoor show at the Lewes Concert Series in Lewes Beach, Delaware (July 9). Go to hot-breakfast.com for more info on upcoming gigs.
High Side Driver: An alt-rock band out of Australia, High Side Driver have been building their sound for the past 3 years. In April the band released their self-titled E.P., which can grab from their Bandcamp page for free. They just got done playing a huge Festival this past weekend, so be sure to like them on Facebook to find out what High Side Driver are up to next.
Today at 6pm ET we’ll be playing 3 songs from both bands. As a listener, we need you to listen very carefully. While listening, use our thumbs up/down buttons to let us know which songs you prefer, and which songs you don’t. At the end of our Band vs Band segment, the band with the most votes moves on to the next day as returning champ. We’ve also got new music from SHANE KENNY, Frantic Chant, and TwoPeaceExtraSpicy.
