opening songs

As always, we have an excellent show planned for you on Gashouse Live (weekdays 6pm ET). Ron Bomb will be in studio with some major announcements, we have some great new music to debut, and we will be putting together “The Best Opening Songs on Albums”.

Ron Bauman (aka RonBomb, aka new owner of Connie’s Ric Rac) will be in studio to announce something big coming up in the near future. We always love having Ron in studio, so this should be a fun show.

Every week we put together a playlist on our Youtube page. Recent playlists include “The Best Collaborations”, “Cover Songs That are Better Than the Original”, “Best Basslines” and so on. Building these playlists always generate some great discussions about music, and tonight’s playlist theme should not disappoint. So start thinking about “The Best Opening Songs on Albums” (Cherub Rock, In the Flesh, Welcome to the Jungle to name a few) and bring your suggestions to our chat room.

And of course, we’ve got plenty of new music from some great independent artists around the world to share with you as well. Today’s artists include:

opening songsDope Soda: Now their 3rd straight appearance on The Radar, this Canadian ska/reggae/dub/punk/too many genres to list band has really made an impression on our listeners. A horn section can be an incredible addition to a band, or sound absolutely awful. Dope Soda is definitely doing it right. They have an awesome sound and they are obviously some very talented musicians. Tune in to see if they can make it 4 in a row.

: This Is Indian Rock.
Punkh is the first ever Hindi Hard Rock band.
Formed, recorded and produced in Germany.

So tune in tonight to Gashouse Live and start your weekend off with some live, unique entertainment, some great discussions, and some brand new music. Participate in our Youtube playlist discussion and do not miss Ron Bomb’s announcement at the beginning of the show!
