As always, we have got a ton of great music to share with you today on Gashouse Radio. The bands listed below are the newest additions to Gashouse Radio. When an artist submits music, they are entered into our segment The Radar. We take 3 of their songs and play 1 at 9am, 1 at 2pm, and the third track we play during Gashouse Live (usually between 6-8pm). Here’s a look at today’s independent music newcomers:

Ropetree: This NJ band earned enough votes yesterday to warrant another appearance on the Radar. Check out their new EP Bacon available on iTunes. Also, the band is part of this years Hard Rock Rising competition brought to you by Hard Rock Cafe. They are part of the Atlantic City competition, so go here and vote for Ropetree.

The After Hours: Another band that are returning from yesterdays show. This LA band has that classic rock n roll sound that deserves another feature today before they enter regular rotation. The After Hours also have a new EP, Shaken Not Stirred, available on the-after-hours.com.

internet radioDan Collins: Dan has been a part of Philadelphia’s alternative folk scene since 2005. His debut album, “You Can’t Go Home”, was released independently in October, 2010. Dan has been featured on Gene Shay’s folk show on WXPN, on Radio Volta and UPENN Radio WQHS. He regularly performs at Philadelphia’s finest venues, including the World Cafe, The Tin Angel, the Khyber, Tritone, The Fire, The Hinge Cafe, and Connie’s Ric Rac, also making appearances at The Bitter End, Caffe Vivaldi, 169 Bar and Pianos in New York City.

: Shane Kenny is a singer/songwriter from Wexford, Ireland who is on the verge of releasing his second album, the follow up to his 2009 release “Lost in the Madness of Crowds”.The album titled ”8 Miles out”  is due to be released in early 2014. The first single ”Rolls off your tongue” was released in April followed by “Threw it all away” in August and and by teaming up with Florida based record label Musik and Film, the songs have to date been picked up by more than 5000 radio stations worldwide and it is expected that the next single ”Desert Road” will surpass this success.

Fatal Casualties: Fatal Casualties was born in Stockholm, Sweden 1986. Active years 1986-1991, with live performances and some demos. 2010 was the reunion a fact. Two childhood friends, Stefan & Ivan, 6-8 years old, where playing at their playground around Alphyddan in Nacka (a suburb to Stockholm, Sweden). The year was 1979. What they didn´t know then, that these 2 youngsters was going to release Fatal Casualties debut ep “Paria”, about 30 years later.

: We are CrashDollz. A Rock band out of the Detroit, Michigan area. We play a very original cross of Punk attitude mixed with Big Rock technical ability and swagger. Female-fronted with a lot of aggression, we are a mighty force on stage and infectious to the ear. Our bombastic live shows in and out of Michigan have created a huge buzz about us and we are ready to go to the next level.

My Goodness: My Goodness will be releasing a new album later this summer.  The band will also be embarking on their first national tour (in support of Augustines) in February/March, with Cody Votolato (The Blood Brothers, Jaguar Love) joining them on bass.  These guys are straight up dirty blues rock-n-roll, with fuzzing guitars that riffs that jam so hard. They’ve already built a strong following over the last few years throughout the Pacific Northwest, and I’m positive it’s going to spread fast as soon as more people find out about them. Do not miss My Goodness, February 28th at Boot and Saddle in Philadelphia, PA.
