#MM

We are back on Gashouse Live tonight at 6pm ET to bring you your #MusicMonday! Only tune in if you enjoy:

a) new independent music

b) unique audio entertainment and news delivery

c) learning about the Philadelphia music scene

d) winning free stuff

If you are ok with one of these things listed above, we have your #MusicMonday covered tonight. Dave Pitone, member of our featured band of the week, will join us in studio as he does every Monday night. And of course Amber Ladd and Kelly Dellinger will take over the last hour of the show. So you already know it’s gonna be a good time. Now let me introduce you to today’s new artists:

: REVERBNATION PICK DRUNKSOULS are a French reggae band who have garnered worldwide acclaim and word-of-mouth. Likened to an original blend of Manu Chao, Gorillaz, Michael Jackson, RHCP and Damian Marley, their music is a patchwork of influences intended to make you dance as well as think. The Daily Consciousness says they’re “creating a unique sound with little to no borders.” Their songs, sometimes playful and sometimes dark, carry a message of reconciliation and tolerance, in which humour and gravity are intelligently cohabiting.

Darling SerpentsDarling Serpents sucks… NOT!!! …Bring on the pain, Darling Serpents! If Weird Al Yankovic had a baby with Maynard from Tool, and Annie Lennox from the Eurythmics… it would look nothing like this. Volume: ▁ ▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ █ 100 % ㋛ m/

: REVERBNATION PICK Progressive Rock band hailing from the Jersey Shore. Lower the Veil started as Friends of Bill Wilson back in 2000. They’ve evolved into Lower the Veil since then, and have several releases under their belts. Check out www.lowertheveil.com for more info on the band.

: Sylvia Ray Arden aka SRA is a Singer/Songwriter from Europe with some jazzy, soulful and nostalgic vibes but also some funky/disco pop grooves that make you dance on a rainy day..Damn that was cheesy..Cheers and Blessings to all ya’ll

: PseudoNympho are a Prog/Grunge/Rock/Alt-metal band from Leeds, UK. They have a heavy focus on lyrical content, and an often challenging, and idiosyncratic style. Their debut album, Eponym, which received a rave review in Decibel, is available at all good online retailers, as well as selected independent record stores.

: A 4 piece rock band out of Philadelphia, Love A Lunatic started in 2010 and we’ve been leaving our mark anywhere we can. We’ve performed at Dobbs, The Trocadero, The Note, the M Room, The Fire, The Balcony, The Grape Room(Grape St), Finnagens Wake, Warehouse 24, & Whisky Tango.

In addition to these guys, The Mumblecores, Chestnut Grove and Sucker all tied as the highest voted bands from Friday, so all 3 will continue on to The Radar for today’s show. Plus we have a brand new track from Shinobi Ninja! Make sure you vote on every song you hear so we know which songs to add to rotation, and which songs to cut. Tune in to make us your source for #MusicMonday, 6pm ET, and join us in the chat room!
