Krantz, Kurt and Brooke are taking over Gashouse Live tonight at 6pm ET!
If you want your weekend to start with laughs, new music, and the chancce of winning free stuff, then tun in to Gashouse Live tonight at 6pm ET! Krantz, Brooke, and Kurt will be hosting the show tonight, so you expect a different kind of Gashouse Live. You can also expect some great music in our segment The Radar.
Remember, The Radar is not just a segment on Gashouse Live. There are 3 rounds of The Radar, with different songs from the same bands in each round. The first round is at 9am ET, the second at 2pm, and then the third round is part of Gashouse Live Here are the bands on The Radar tonight:
The Terribles: Now going for their 4th straight day on The Radar and on the Top 10 Countdown for that matter. IT seems as though The Terribles have made a home in the Gashouse Radio rotation. This Philly band have a busy calendar coming up, including a TLA show on Friday, April 4th! Follow them on Facebook for more updates.
The Beavers: On Monday’s segment of The Radar, both The Terribles and The Beavers were tied for the highest voted songs of the day, so we brought them both back for tonight’s show. These guys are veterans of the Philadelphia music scene, having started in 1997. Their latest release is available to saple on their Reverbnatin page, and of course today on Gashouse Live.
Equalszee: Equalszee (=z) is a solo Philadelphia artist. He creates everything on his own with a computer, his guitar and his voice. We had him out at one of our Raven Lounge shows and he’s fantastic with just an acoustic guitar as well. Today we have his new track, Raise A Glass, which you can also find on Bandcamp at a name your price basis.
King Django: Another guy that’s been n rotation forever. King Django was the staple in our old reggae show Red Sunday Afternoons. There is too much history to fit into a few sentences when it comes to this reggae artist. His career spans 3 decades, and his bio on Reverbnation is a fun read. Today we finally got his latest album. His independent label, Stubborn Records, recently celebrated their 20th Anniversary. This guy is a major player in the roots reggae world.
Boardwalk Isabella: Boardwalk Isabella are a rock band out of the UK with a prevalent groove and soul feel to their sound. They debuted back in October, and today we have their latest single, The World is a Mirror. Check out boardwalkisabella.com for more news and updates.
Meg Olsen: Last year we debuted Meg Olsen and her debut album Deal from the Bottom. This LA-based singer/songwriter is back this year with another full length album, Charade. The album is available on iTunes and Amazon, or just go straight to her site, megolsenmusic.com.
All of these bands have been on Gashouse Radio in the past, and they all have some new music to get out to our listeners. Make sure you tune in today at 6pm ET (als at 9am and 2pm) to Gashouse Live. The Radar is a segment we use to introduce you to new music and we hope that you share your opinion of each track using the thumbs up/down buttons on the player page.
Plus we have special co-hosts, giveaways, and there is never a dull moment in the chat room during the show! Tune in, be a part of the fun, and spread the word! Your weekend starts here with us, 6pm ET.
