working class villains

The freaks come out to play with this week’s featured band- Working Class Villains

Philadelphia rock group, Working Class Villains, began in the summer of 2011 with a soulful noise that quickly lead them to the top of local music charts throughout the region. Although influenced by the classics (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Hendrix and Iggy Pop), their sound is almost impossible to categorize. Nevertheless, the whole room will pulse to Working Class Villains groove-ridden beats. But, don’t let their boyish charm fool you, their pure guttural resonance would make suitable for any 90’s witchcraft film- and I do mean that in the best way possible.
Don’t miss Working Class Villains on Saturday November 15 for an astounding double CD release show at The Legendary Dobbs with Cocek! Brass Band. Hoochie Coochie Men, the Fancy Balloons, and Chowder will also make an appearance. For more info visit the Facebook event page.
Be sure to tune in to every Gashouse Live (weeknights at 6pm) for an exclusive track from Working Class Villains. If you like what you hear, use the thumbs up/down button to voice your opinion!
