Against the Clocks, our 2014 Tournament of Champions WINNER!

If you’re a regular listener of Gashouse Radio, then you’ve heard about our 3rd Annual Tournament of Champions. Basically we took the 32 highest voted bands of 2014, and put them into a single elimination bracket. From Nov 17th until Dec 23rd put 2 of the bands head-to-head and let our listeners determine their favorite. On December 23rd, after all was said and done, Against the Clocks came out on top as our 2014 Champion.

Against the Clocks are 4-piece alt rock band out of Rockville, Indiana. Jon, Brock,Landry and Logan’s Four harmonizing vocals, catchy beats, powerful rhythm line, explosive leads, and soothing piano sounds complement each other.  Their songs are catchy and well-written, which is why so many of our listeners connected with their music since their debut back in June. In fact, the same month they debuted, their song Away You Go was the 4th highest voted song of June. They’ve spent plenty of time in our Top 10 Countdown (daily 5am and 5pm ET).

Check out their soundcloud page for more samples of their songs. You can also grab a free download of their track Cinderella as well. they’ve got 2 EPs posted and we keep you updated on any new releases from the band.

And when you’re done there, head over to againsttheclocks.com to find out more on the band. They’ve got 2 big shows posted for 2015, and one of them is almost local to Gashouse Radio. Against the Clocks will be performing at the 2015 Millenium Music Conference in Harrisburg, PA on February 21st. They’re also playing the Red Gorilla Music Festival in Austin, TX on March 20th. These are 2 major shows for the band so expect big things fro Against the Clocks throughout 2015.

Congratulations to Against the Clocks for becoming our 2015 Tournament Champions. We are looking forward to getting the band in Philadelphia at some point this year, and with that an in-studio appearance. Keep an eye on this band, they are a young band with a very promising future!
