St. Maurice: St. Maurice’s version of modern progressive rock is heavily influenced by blues, funk, R&B, reggae and hip–hop, but expands to something more wildly experimental.  Their frequent improvised jams  are often reminiscent of the Jam Bands of earlier eras,.   The band, featuring two lead  singers and an exceptional rhythm section, delivers high energy performances  offset by mellow grooves and ethereal vibes.   The EP “3120” was released in 2013 to critical acclaim.

E. Joseph & The Sparrows: EJ is an American songwriter-composer-singer performing and writing both as a solo artist under the moniker E.Joseph and in several bands. The Phantom Heart, Wooden HEZ, and Stellarscope are just 3 of his projects to get some airplay on Gashouse Radio. I ave not seen this formation yet, but if EJ is involved, it’s going to be a good show.

Could’ve Been Kings: Philadelphia alternative rock group, Could’ve Been Kings, got their start in the December 2012 and quickly took the local scene by storm playing some of Philly’s most notable venues – The Trocadero Theater, The Legendary Dobbs, World Cafe Live, The Fire, Hard Rock Cafe, etc while building a loyal fan base. In September 2014, Could’ve Been Kings released their freshman EP, Through the Darkness with hits such as “Waste of Time,” “Summer Scene,” and “Believer”. CbK has also received local and national airplay!

The Outhouse: This trio out of Lancaster, PA is rock n’ roll personified. They are known for high-energy shows, supporting communities fighting for justice, and issuing well-honed blasts of sonic energy. Recently a few of their tracks have been added to rotation, and I’m looking forward to seeing the real deal. Check out their vinyl available on their Bandcamp page – http://theouthouse.bandcamp.com/.
