keller3Kaylee Keller – Song Like That (single release)

In our modern age of Rap synths and auto-tune antics it can be difficult to find the top seeds   among the harvest. What makes masters like Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande so sought after? Sure they sound good, they look great, the feel is good. But above that they got something else. They got what many in the industry call X-Factor. So what is X-Factor anyway? It’s just something deep within their spirit that breaks the mold when compared to other artists. They stand out in a good way and transfer well into the hearts and minds of music fans all over the world. Where am I going all with this?

Kaylee Keller not only has X-Factor, she has a voice that will blow you away. With her new single “Song Like That” she has moved away from the electronic rock pacing of today’s modern synth heavy radio noise thus producing a hot new track that more closely resemble classic pop of the 90’s in terms of musical form. With the impressively lead off 30 seconds Piano this single keeps it real with tasty piano led grooves that decree passion, power which exudes confidence to the masses. The song offers instrumentally rich set with a straight forward yet clever message with an impressive vocal front from Keller. Don’t get me wrong this isn’t an overwhelmingly bright ‘Shinny happy” song by any means, it just speaks the truth about sharing and lifting your spirits. This 3-plus minute staple really demonstrates a happier side of music and even a sense of hope evident through a transparent exploration of yearning and feeling positive about the universe. Keller is one artists that’s brave enough to be true to herself when it comes to her music. She reminds me of Demi Lavato, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, and Selena Gomez. All of the above is brought to life with hauntingly detailed musical layers, steady rhythmic pulsation and addictive vocal persuasion on her latest single.

On this track expect an enticing vocal approach from Keller who is extremely cognizant to the piece being played. She is a good pop singer and she has good instincts when the record light is on. All things considered, this is a unique and fundamentally sound single from a unique and fascinating artist. It’s nice to know within the ranks if millions of independent artists some are capable of delivering something special that sticks true within their own style and artistic expression. All the while touching an occasionally fun filled piece of music that brightens up your day, Isn’t that what music is all about?
