audio implseTwelve time winner of Gashouse Radio’s own Band vs. Band, Audio Impulse is this week’s featured.

Initially members of past Philadelphian bands Broken Down Sunset and Revenant Tone, frontman Barry Phillips and guitarist Nate Blithe musically converged and quickly turned their duo into a four piece power house. To these alternative rockers, honesty is everything. With a “music cures all” mentality and a “we are here for you because of you” approach, Audio Impulse consistently delivers a raw dynamism subject to a therapeutic or “communal purging of the soul.” Be prepared for tight rhythms, sweet guitar riffs, and a very lively mosh pit (that I personally would join).

On Friday April 24th at The Legendary Dobbs, Audio Impulse along with Little War Twins, Fifth Nation Music, Bong Hits for Jesus, A Better Class of Criminal, and Xombie will be opening for HED PE and Alien Ant Farm. That’s right, Alien Ant Farm. Need I say more? This is a two floor extravaganza. Tickets are only 22 bucks and still available. Check out legendarydobbs.tunestub.com for more info and to purchase yours.

Don’t forget to tune in all this week to hear Audio Impulse in heavy rotation. You can catch a track at the beginning of every Gashouse Live (weeknights 7pm ET). If you like (or hate) what you hear, please share your opinion by using the thumbs up/down buttons.
