Tonight on Gashouse Live we have a lot to discuss. Between the Kickoff Party Friday night, the Italian Festival and Elephants for Autism, this has been one crazy weekend. We got to see about 30 bands this weekend, met some great people, and saw some old friends. We will tell you all about tonight on Gashouse Live from 6-10pm ET with the Festival recap and a ton of new music.
Krantz and Dave will be MIA tonight, so I will need your help picking the music tonight. Please use our request page to let us know what you want to hear.
And of course, we will be supplying you with a ton of new music. Every week we bring a new batch of bands to our segment The Radar. There is a round at 9am, a round at 2pm, and a round during Gashouse Live at 6pm ET. The Radar consists of all the latest submissions to Gashouse, and it is important that you let us know what you think of each track. Just use our thumbs up/down buttons to share your opinion. These votes determine if a song stays or a song goes.
Here are this week’s bands on The Radar:
Tony James Shevlin: Award winning singer-songwriter from the UK who has written for REM and The Troggs as well as having one of his songs chosen for the Amnesty International Anthem of Peace. For a spell Elvis Costello’s attractions were his backing band. Now back with a new album inspired by the Rock ‘n’ Roll Americana of Nashville.
