Original Dan here. I am the host of Gashouse Radio’s best (and only, consequently) rockabilly and kustom kulture show. I am a pinstriper, painter, gearhead, and huge rockabilly fan.

Since you’ve made it this far, you are probably wondering what this show is all about.  Fear not, kats and kittens cause I’m gonna fill ya in right now.  Flathead Fever is more than your run of the mill rockabilly show.  Each week we take a musical journey, smashing through genre boundaries without prejudice.  Rockabilly, pychobilly, surf, swing, honky tonk, or whatever you want to call it.  If it has that traditional sound, we’ll play it!

Do you love Brian Setzer (who doesn’t), but also want to keep your finger on the pulse of the latest music coming out?  Every week we feature a different band, and get up close and personal with a live interview!  It’s not one and done either.  We keep our fans updated on new albums coming out and tour news from our past feature bands.  It amazes me every day how much awesome new music there is coming out; the Fever brings it to you mixed with all the originals you don’t want to live without.

I like to think of Flathead Fever as “garage music.”  The kind of music that gets you motivated when you are setting the points on your ’58 Ford pickup or flaming out your Deuce coupe.  Naturally, it’s just as enjoyable when relaxing on your couch.  Better yet, stop in the chat and tell us about your latest project.
