The Good Excuses are back and going for win #10 in Gashouse Live’s Band vs Band segment. Just the fact that this band has 9 wins already means that they’ve cemented themselves in regular rotation on Gashouse Radio. This is all because their album, 30 Minutes or Less, is filled with great songs. Go pick that album up on their Bandcamp page, and then join us this Friday at Dockside Bar. The Good Excuses, Venice Sunlight, Fooling April, Curtis Jr and Tess Emma are playing this awesome venue, and a group of us will be there.
Blue Matches, a female-fronted indie/punk band out of Tennessee, made a strong first impression on our show last week. We debuted a couple of their songs and they received nothing but positive response. So we’re bringing them back for today’s Band vs Band. Blue Matches just finished recording their first album, Starting Over, and they could use a little help finishing it up. They recently started a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for the mixing, mastering and reproduction. Help this band reach their goal, and you could even get a date with a member!
Today on Gashouse Live we’ll be playing 3 songs from both bands. We need you to decide which band comes back for tomorrow’s show. Just listen closely to each song, and use our thumbs up/down buttons to share your opinion. These votes will determine which band moves on. Also on today’s show we’ve got new music from LoveCryme, Rebellious Jukebox, and Scrupulous.
