The Lost Will Follow

In an exciting turn of events this past Thursday, The Lost Will Follow ended East of the West’s run as Band vs Band champ on Gashouse Live (weekdays 6pm ET). The Lost Will Follow have been rocking venues throughout Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Delaware since June of 2011. If you check out their Reverbnation page, you can download a handful of songs. Also, take a look at their upcoming schedule, because they’ve got a bunch of gigs in the next few months. We’ll be checking them out at Finnegan’s Wake on 4/20.

Equalszee, or =z, is a musician out of Philadelphia with a refreshing approach to his craft.

I make music. I do it in my spare time. I do it for fun. I don’t do it to make money, I have a day job. I don’t do it to massage some stale adolescent fantasy about being famous. I’m almost thirty; I don’t want to be famous. I make music that I like. I make music that I’d like to listen to.

He started with an EP in 2010, followed it up with a self-titled album in 2012 and recently released his third, The Goodbye Youth. The album is available on the =z Bandcamp page on a ‘name your price’ basis (you can throw a few bucks). Check out equalszee.org to keep up with =z (and you’ll find a Carly Rae Jepsen cover as well).

On Gashouse Live today at 6pm ET we’ll be playing 3 songs from each artist. We’re gonna ask you to share your opinion on every song you hear during the show. At the end of the show, we’ll tally up the votes, and the band with the most votes moves on to the next day as our returning champions. We’ve also got new music from   and . So tune in, be a part of the show in our chat room, and tell a friend!
