This week we feature Wooden HEZ, who are making their return to Philadelphia this Friday at The Fire
You may have seen various “band-o-grams” floating around your social media. These unique marketing tools are courtesy of HEZ, and they complement their unique sound and vocal style. The band has been busy playing various shows outside the city, and they’ve also been in pre-production for a new album Spew coming very soon. They’ve also dealt with a few lineup changes over the past few months, and this week we will be meeting their new guitar player on Gashouse Live (weekdays 6pm ET).
Friday night, February 28th, Wooden HEZ are taking a break from writing to play The Fire along with Route 611. They’ve got ll new material for this show, so you don’t want to miss. HEZ takes the stage around 9pm, so get there early. Go to the Facebook event page and RSVP, and check out woodenhez.com for more info on the band.
Dave Pitone, front man of the band, was recently featured by UnsungPhilly.com. This is a short documentary about Dave and the band Wooden HEZ. Take the time to watch this 7-minute video. It is very well-done and it’s a great story. Also, you can catch Dave as a co-host on Gashouse Live every Monday night, 6pm ET.
Tune in to Gashouse all week to hear Wooden HEZ in heavy rotation. We’ve got their first album Children’s Parade, along with some acoustic tracks recording live in our studio and a few demos from the upcoming album. You will hear a track at the beginning of every Gashouse Live. And speaking of Gashouse Live, be sure to tune in on Mondays with Dave and to learn more about Wooden HEZ.
