Tonight we get to hear SCK live in studio, along with an interview. We’ve been looking forward to this in-studio appearance for some time, so do not miss tonight’s show!
As always, we’ve got plenty of new music to bring to our segment The Radar as well. Here are tonight’s debut bands:
The Terribles: It looks like The Terribles have a great chance at a 15 day run on The Radar. This Philadelhia rock band debuted on Tuesday, and instantly hit #1 on the Top 10 Countdown. They have had an overwhelmingly positive response on the station, and they are back today to go for day #2. Check them out March 20th at Hot Shots and April 4th at the TLA.
The Answer: The Answer are a Northern Irish hard rock and blues-rock band from Newcastle and Downpatrick, County Down, Northern Ireland. They have achieved success with their debut album Rise selling in excess of 30,000 copies in the UK & Europe, 10,000 on day one in Japan and 100,000 worldwide.
Acadia On The Horizon: Brandon Cole and Kevin Dunne met through a former band, and are now collaborating and expanding their music sensibilities and sound. This NJ band just got started in December of 2013, so now’s a good time to start watching them.
3PM: REVERBNATION PICK A punk rock band from Baltimore, MD, 3PM is an energetic young group you’ll instantly fall in love with. The members are diverse in age (16, 18,and 22), but their friendship despite that gives them their own unique and undeniable spark. Drawing inspiration from fellow punk rockers such as Blink 182, New Found Glory and Yellowcard, 3PM’s music is catchy, upbeat, and fun.
Gas Station Disco: REVERBNATION PICK This 4-piece band set out to bounce on top of the local music scene, one incendiary live show after the other. Their brand of rock music is simple and immediate, captivating the audience through heartfelt sing-alongs and high-impact arrangements.
Watch out for their latest release, Dance Floored, an embodiment of the band’s cohesion and appeal!
Dingo Down: LA’s sassiest rock band formed by Berklee alumni who don’t play jazz. Dingo Down will leave your face melted and your pants slightly soiled. 2014: Year of the Dingo!
