Tonight, 6pm ET, Even Man Out will be Joining Us In Studio
This past Saturday night, we had Even Man Out play our showcase at Connie’s Ric Rac. This is an awesome band, and they certainly did not disappoint. These are extremely talented musicians who know how to write a catchy song. Tonight, they’re coming in studio just hang out and let us know what else is new with the band.
We also have some prizes to giveaway, and we’ll be playing more of the in-studio acoustic tracks from the pat few years. We are trying to narrowing down our 120 in-studio tracks to a 20-song compilation album to be used as a perk for our upcoming IndieGogo campaign.
And of course, we can’t forget about the new music. We debut new music every weekday on Gashouse in our segment The Radar. Here are today’s bands on The Radar:
Undergun: Returning from yesterday’s debut, Undergun was the highest voted band on The Radar. This Philadelphia band has a great EP called Ten Cigarettes, and the title track can be heard on The Top 10 Countdown (everyday at 5am and 5pm ET). Check them out May 16th at Final Score Bar & Grill in Bensalem, PA.
Milhaus: Philly suburb band. Spewing the tales of life, and frustration, in the suburbs, through some grunge-esque tunes.
Black Angel: Black Angel is a Rolling Stones style, two guitar, rock ‘n’ roll band that started in 1999 with J. C. Martin, Audrey (Mrs. Ike) Turner and Ronnie Turner (son of Ike and Tina Turner). The band continues to today and has had hundreds of shows, is played on radios around the world and has two new albums including one called Pleasuredome which was released on Jan. 2, 2014.
Sparklefight: We have seen this band name all over Philly, and we finally have them on the station! Philly’s favorite Rock Punk Sleaze Balls will be debuting tracks from their album Sperm Tsunami today on Gashouse. Rumor has it that they are currently working on a follow-up album. I love a band with a sense of humor, and if you check out their Facebook page, you will definitely see what I mean. Look for Sparklefight to be on a Gashouse showcase as soon as we can make that happen!
I Like I Like: We are a Pop Punk band straight out of Northwest Florida. We combine catchy pop beats and rhythms with the edgy punk riffs and a wall of sound. I Like I Like is here to stay!
St. Maurice: St. Maurice is a four-piece rock band based out of Spartanburg, SC. Since its formation in 2011, the band has become increasingly popular on the local scene by offering a wide variety of styles blended together to form a sound that has been called “ refreshingly inventive”. Now the band is currently on tour, an they will be stopping by our Open Jam at The Legendary Dobbs on April 15th. Visit their Facebook page for more upcoming tour dates, and join us 4/15 at Dobbs for the FREE open jam!
Wily Bo Walker: Wily Bo Walker is a solo artist and performer noted for his characterful vocals and swaggering ‘live’ performances. He is also the frontman with both ‘Rattlin Bone’ and ‘The Mescal Canyon Troubadours’. Wily Bo works across many styles and genres; blues, soul, jazz, alternative, indie, rock and adult contemporary.
Having just finished working on his album ‘Wily Bo Walker & The Danny Flam Big Band’ (Nov 2013), Wily Bo is currently working on a solo album ‘Moon Over Indigo’ with Grammy Award winning musician and arranger, Danny Flam and a host of talented musicians spanning a network of musicians across the globe.
The People Now: The People Now is a world traveled alternative rock band hailing from Seattle, Washington – creating their dynamic, high energy surround sound music around social awareness and partnering with charitable organizations. This band’s blend of well-crafted, intricately constructed songs, thought-provoking lyrics and cause-orientation is what draws their distinction from bands of the same genre. Their live performance provides a phenomenal multi-media experience for the audience with a well-orchestrated light show, complete Surround Sound, video backdrop and material relevant to the featured cause.
Tune in to Gashouse Live tonight at 6pm ET! Even Man Out in studio is always fun, the music will be great, and you could win free stuff!
