Saturday, June 21st, the the thousands of people participating in Make Music Philly! It’s not just Philadelphia either, more than 500 cities worldwide are participating in this event. It’s Philly’s only DIY music festival, and they are encouraging everyone to participate.
Professional musicians, amateur musicians, adults, kids, EVERYONE can be a part of this event. Even if you just put together something out on your front lawn. The goal is to get the entire city making music on June 21st. The goal this year is to have over 300 performances for Make Music Philly. All genres welcome. And check this out, if you are a musician and would like to participate with other like-minded musicians, Make Music Philly have put together this matchmaking software. If you’re a musician or a venue, use this software to find a spot to participate.
Also, Make Music Philly has a Kickstarter going right now in order to raise money and awareness for the event. Click here to check out and contribute to the campaign. Make Music Philly is hoping to raise $20,000 for:
