Tune in at 6pm ET tonight for and interview and performance fro Revolution, I Love You
We’ve got another busy night of radio on Gashouse Live starting at 6pm ET. Revolution, I Love You is an electric rock duo out of Philadelphia. They’ve got a very unique sound that we witnessed at last year’s Liberty Music Fest. Because of their unique setup, I’m not exactly sure what we’re in for on tonight’s show, but I do know that it’s going to sound awesome. Don’t miss their interview and performance on tonight’s show. Also, see them at Mojo on Main on April 12th in Newark, DE. Check out revolutioniloveyou.com for more information and free downloads.
Plus, Ron Bomb will be joining us in studio to fill us in on what’s coming up at Connie’s Ric Rac. Tonight they have a special Beatles tribute night, and the rest of April is looking equally interesting. Plus, we’ve got new music from the following bands as part of our segment The Radar:
iScat: This experimental duo out of the UK was the highest voted band on yesterday’s show. They are back today on The Radar to see if they can make it 2 in a row.
Killvan: Killvan is an alternative rock band formed in Mexico City. It comprises Andy, July, Vix and Bob. July says “Thank you for listening”.
POSTCODE: Formed in the Isle of Man by Marie Reynolds and Mikie Daugherty, Postcode refer to their music as ‘zebracore’, though the more conservative may prefer ‘alternative rock’. The band have recently released a new album ‘Zebratronic’, which mixes their normal sound with synths and drum machines, hence the name. Though the album was recorded as a duo, Postcode is once again a five-piece and is currently working on a follow-up album.
Sever the Drama: Sever The Drama is as much a mission statement as a band name. This focused, driven four-piece from Hartford, CT delivers a dynamic hard rock experience. Intricate and explosive rhythms lay the foundation for solid bass, powerful guitars and melodic yet aggressive vocals.
BobbyThompson Project: Bobby has toured and recorded with top acts including SOJA, Junior Marvin, Corey Harris, Justin Jones, and shared the stage with artists like Mick Fleetwood, Chris Thomas King, and Lucinda Williams. He recently released a 4song EP entitled Fortunes, recorded in between tours with Justin Jones, of which he got to open for Gary Clark Jr and play festivals like Austin City Limits Festival, Floyd Fest, and Virgin Free Fest. He is currently back in the studio with his new blues-rock band Blueheart Revival, working on a full length release for summer 2014.
