Titled Chords for Cures top band of 2013, Only on Weekends is this week’s featured.
Straight up Philadelphia pop punk, Only on Weekend’s upbeat and unique energy is nothing but contagious. Although their catchy songs echo influences of Saves the Day, Say Anything, Dashboard Confessional and Something Corporate, their trademark light show make this four piece band an unforgettable live experience. In addition to winning South Jersey Magazine’s Top Talent contest, Only on Weekend’s latest release, Light Years and Heavy Lifting, was produced and engineered by the astounding Fred Mascherino (Terrible Things, The Color Fred, Taking Back Sunday). Light Years and Heavy Lifting, as well as their self titled and Dig In, are available for download on onlyonweekends.bandcamp.com.
