kid cousin

Glorious breakdowns, gorgeous melodies, and effortless vocals; this week’s featured band is progressive rock group Kid Cousin.

Straight out of Lancaster PA, Kid Cousin is a solid up and coming band with an already devoted following. Impeccable chemistry is arguably the most important aspect a good band must possess. Whether on stage or in the studio, Kid Cousin exhibits just that. Their seamless musical flow and genuine lyrics get and stay under your skin in the absolute best way possible.

Strong influences including Radiohead, The Mars Volta, Reign of Kindo, and Coheed and Cambria appear apparent within their debut album, Birth. This seven-track collection was recorded and produced at Controlled Sound Studios in the November of 2014, and is currently available for download at kidcousin.bandcamp.com/releases.

Don’t miss Kid Cousin with Hot Jam Factory, Roi & the Secret People, and Overfield at Connie’s Ric Rac Saturday the 21st (www.facebook.com/events/1581062575440575/). Please tune in all this week to hear Kid Cousin in heavy rotation. You can catch a track at the beginning of every Gashouse Live (weeknights 6pm ET).
